What's not to love about Venice
Although Valentine's Day is behind us,
love is still in the air, especially in
a place that's known for its romantic
ambiance — Venice, Italy. In addition to
some of the most renowned works of art,
the classic gondola rides, and their
passion for food and wine, this region
has so many more things to desire.
With its magnificent skyline, rich
musical heritage, and artistic culture,
you can see why nearly 50,000 tourists
visit this wonderful city every day.
Recently, Venice celebrated the arrival
of their two millionth visitor to arrive
by sea. As it turns out, she just
happens to be a Princess Elite Member.
You can learn more about her and her
husband in the Loyal Past Passenger of
the Month article below.
Ever since the Carnival of Venice was
revived, the city has become a major
center of international conferences and
festivals. It is also considered to be a
major hub for the fashion world among
those in the business. Other popular
sites include the prestigious Venice
Biennale and the Venice Film Festival,
which attracts visitors from all over
the world because of the elaborate
theatrical productions.
There are so many fascinating things to
do and see in Venice, such as St Mark's
Basilica and the Grand Canal. Then,
there's the central gathering places
known as the Piazza San Marco and the
Lido di Venezia, which have become the
destination of choice for actors,
critics, celebrities and many other
people in the movie industry.
Luckily, we offer overnight stays in
Venice so our passengers traveling to
this region can see as many of these
sites as they can fit into their day.
There's so much to see, it's easy to
fall in love again and again.

experts, Omar Silingardi had to say
about Venice, visit our blog and click

Polo". While there, feel free to read

passengers had to say, or add a comment
of your own.
